Activation Blizzard hired Disney’s Julie Hodges as its HR chief

Activation Blizzard has hired 2-year veteran of the Walt Disney Co, Julie Hodges, as its chief public officer.

Hodges joined the functional games giant on September 21, replacing Claudine Nutton, whom Activision Blizzard called “leaving the company.” Two months after a lawsuit was filed by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the company’s HR leadership changed, alleging that it allowed the development of a “broad freight boy workplace culture” that resulted in female employees being subjected to constant sexual harassment and They are paid less than men.
