Actor Nick Cordo coronavirus woke up from a coma after the war – variety

After battling the coronavirus in intensive care for more than a month, Broadway actor Nick Cordo woke up from a medically-induced coma.
His wife Amanda Cluts made the announcement on her Instagram story while holding their son Elvis. “Friends, we may need to change our hashtag to #CodeRocky because Nick – Grandpa – is awake!” He said.
Code Rocky is a term used by medical professionals to indicate when coronavirus patients are on their way to full recovery. Clots had previously used the hashtag #WalkUpUp to spread the word about Cordero’s condition and show support for him on social media.
In a separate post on his Instagram story, Clatts gave further updates on Cordaro’s condition that he still followed weak but verbal orders.
“He’s so weak, so weak that he can’t close his mouth,” Clot wrote. “But he is following orders, which means the mental state will return.”
Over the past few days, commandos have begun to show more signs of understanding the wake-up orders, however, Clots said in an Instagram live video that they are still ready for a long recovery.
“You don’t want to cheer yourself up because it was such a road. That’s why I say it’s still a long way… but we’re starting to recover.
Cordova was hospitalized in late March due to coronavirus complications. Initially after his diagnosis, doctors had to amputate his right leg because of a blood clot. He endured two more health fears, including two mini-strokes, a septic infection, a fungus in his lungs and a temporary pacemaker for his heart.
