Alessia Cara won tonight’s Virtual 49th Annual Juno Awards – Canada’s Response to Grammys – home lyricist, pop album and the biggest album of the year for “Growing Pain”
The Toronto native was scheduled to host a national television show in Saskatoon, SK, in mid-March before it was canceled at the last minute due to concerns over the rapid spread of the coronavirus epidemic. He also performed a new song “Routing for You” at the virtual event that celebrates the best in Canadian music. The song will be available on his “Summer: Floor of the Floor” EP outside of July 17th.
