Jaime King, Antonio Banderas and Tommy Flanagan have joined the cast of director John Kiss’s action film “The Flute.”
The film follows a freelance assassin, codenamed Flute (King), who is terrified by Anthony Green (Flanagan), a powerful mercenary who kills his father, and who is now seeking revenge for his former black Caleb (Banderas). Counselor Caleb went underground five years ago, starting a race against time because the flute must find and protect Caleb before Green and his mercenary assassins can find him.
“Flute” is a complex story of revenge and family, and it’s a dream to have this incredibly talented actor to bring these characters to life.
“The Flute” is produced by Jordan Yale Levin and Yale Productions’ Jordan Beckerman, with Keys from Highland Myst, from a script by Matthew Rogers, who wrote the trilogy’s previous film, The Survivalist. Shawn Sangani also worked as a producer on the film.
“We’re thrilled to get an amazing cast for this wall-to-wall action movie,” said Yale Levine and Bakerman. “Antonio Banderas is a legend and he’s going to put viewers on the edge of their seats in such a high-powered film with Zaime King and Tommy Flanagan.”
King Hall is the star of Netflix’s “Black Summer” and has appeared in “Pearl Harbor”, “White Chicks”, “Sin City” and “Sin City: A Dame to Kill for”.
Banderas was recently nominated for an Oscar for Pedro Almodোদvar’s “Pain and Glory” and recently starred in “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”. Other credits include “The Mask of Zorro”, “Desperado” and “Evita.” Bandaras will later be seen in the upcoming Indiana Jones films, “Uncharted” and “Push in Boots: The Last Wish”.
Known for his roles in the Flanagan FX crime drama series “Sons of Anarchy” and “Mayans MC”, he has also appeared in “Gladiator”, “Braveheart” and “Westworld”. He will star in “Power Book IV: Force”.
Red Sea Media is going to conduct international sales for “Flute”. Red Sea has previously worked with Yale Productions on “Disease Hostage”, starring John Malkovich and Tyres Gibson, and “The Survivalist”, currently in post-production and starring Jonathan Rice Meyers. Elsa Ramo of Yamo Productions managed the discussion on the Radamo Act.
Executive producers include Roman Koplevich, Mercy Sinaiko and Red Sea Media’s Barry Habib, Yale Productions’ Michael Rothstein, Jason Kringstein, Scott Levenson, Lee Broda, Joel Michael, Sabine Steiner, Gigi Lacs, Jerry Vanf, Jerry Vanef, Gregory Ruden.
