Apple Boards Leonardo DiCaprio and Scorsese’s ‘Flower Moon Killer’ at Paramount – Variety

A few months after Leonardo DiCaprio starred in Martin Scorsese’s “Killer of the Flower Moon” adaptation to budget concerns, Paramount has listed Apple for its embrace.
Sources told Variety that Paramount will still distribute the mystery drama of the murder as soon as Apple comes to fund the film.
Based on David Grann’s non-fiction book, “Killers of the Flower Moon” was set in Oklahoma in 1920, where the newly formed Bureau of Investigation began investigating the murders of wealthy Osage Indians, which gave them the right to search for oil. This marks the sixth collaboration between DiCaprio and Scorsese, who last took part in the 2013 “All Street of Wolf”.
Impetitive Entertainment, whose partners Dan Fredkin and Bradley Thomas acquired the book in 2016, will produce the film.
