Berlin Film Festival adds eight titles to Berlinale special lineup, including ‘Golda,’ ‘Last Night of Love,’ ‘Kill Bucksun’

The Berlin Film Festival has added eight films to its Berlinale special program, including “Golda,” starring Helen Mirren as Golda Meir, “Call My Agent!” Stars Camille Cotin and Liev Schreiber.

Other films include Andrea Di Stefano’s “Last Night of Amor,” about the last night of a Milan policeman starring Pierfrancesco Favino, the documentary “Massimo Troisi: Somebody Down There Likes Me,” Mario Martone’s tribute to actor and filmmaker Troisi, and Byun Sung- Hyun’s “Kill Boksun,” stars Jeon Do-yeon (“The Housemaid”) as an unstoppable female assassin in South Korea.

Also selected was David Wendt’s “Sun and Concrete,” an adaptation of Felix Lobrecht’s novel of the same name, following seven days in the lives of a bunch of 15-year-old boys in Berlin-Neukölln as they steal weed, girls, and a way to steal their school computer.

Other titles include Soi Cheung’s “Mad Fate,” Danny Filippo and Michael Filippo’s “Talk to Me,” and Lars Kraum’s “Der Vermessen Mensch,” about a tragedy perpetrated in Africa by German colonial soldiers in the late 19th century.

Apart from the movies announced on December 20, there are also the latest movies

“The second batch of films presented at the Berlinale Special is a great example of how colourful, vibrant, committed, entertaining and interesting cinema can be,” said artistic director Carlo Chatrian.
