Camilo has released the music video for his and Camila Cabello’s flirty pop bachata track “Ambulancea.” The colorful scene, directed by Camilo’s wife, Venezuelan actress-singer Ivaluna Montana, sees the two Latin stars rise one after the other. Ambulance (ambulance) as they float in front of a variety of green-screened backgrounds such as fields of sunflowers, outer space and busy streets.
Amid bongo beats, the duo’s silky voices merge as they sing about the intensity of longing, love and longing. “You make me sick, I think I need a doctor,” the duo sings over a melodic beat.
“Camila is a great friend and someone I admire, so it was very special for me to write ‘Ambulancea’ and perform it live together for the first time at my show,” Camilo said in the song’s official news release. “Evaluna shot the music video on top of a real ambulance and I’m so proud of how it came together – it’s one of my favorite music videos we’ve ever done. I’m so excited that we finally got to share it with La Tribu.
“I love Camilo and he’s such a close friend, which made it so exciting to team up with him on ‘Ambulancea,'” added Camila.
Camilo and Montana have both been friends with Cabello for a long time — and their collaboration was one that both fan bases were eagerly requesting. “We’ve always talked about working on a song together but at first it was just pure friendship,” says Camilo diversity In September. “Then one day when I was at home, I just started playing, and I knew the song was going to be sung with him.”
He continued, “I’ll be in the studio and pause the rest of the production, leaving Camila doing an a cappella vocal, just for her to hear. He’s so talented, his voice is so unique and I’m so grateful and honored that he’s a part of it [the new album]”
“Ambulancea” comes from Camilo’s latest record “De Adentro Pa Afuera” (translated as “From the Inside”), which features an impressive list of collaborators such as Mike Towers, Grupo Farm, Nicky Nicole, Alejandro Sanz and Montaner.
