Slightly below Griffith Park and just above the main Los Feliz downtown, Bronstein Villa sits in the middle block on a relatively quiet street, walled and guarded with privacy and a gateway town originally built in 1923, the renovated cottage was listed in “Country English” style and designed. A petite 1,636 sqft original home with two bedrooms and 1.5 baths.
Crisp white walls and earth-tone hardwood floors define the interior of the home, including a fireplace and a commercial living room with built-in book shelves. The main level boasts a dining room and a built-in writing desk and stainless appliances in the surrounding kitchen. Downstairs there are crumbling houses – great for guests – and a separate dedicated laundry area, an attractive feature of this small, old house.
Above are two bedrooms connected by a hallway, one of which is now completed as an informal media room / lounge / music studio hybrid. These two rooms share the single full bathroom of the house, which is comfortable by modern standards but equipped with all the necessary toilet facilities.
In the back, Alfresco has a huge cedar deck with ample space for dining and entertainment. The deck overlooks the fairy-tale collection of sparkling saltwater swimming pools and ivy-covered terraces, mature trees and huge hedges of the property. On the other side of the pool is a guesthouse with a convenient 3/4 bath and a bonus loft area ideal for “studio, office, gym or creative space” per one online distribution equipment.
