Peggy Pope, who played the role of a drunken office secretary in the hit comedy movie “9 to 5”, died on May 27 in Colorado, Colorado.
The pope’s family announced his pass and planned to celebrate his life on June 2.
Pope was born as Florence Margaret Pope in Montclair, NJ, and graduated from Smith College in 1951 with a major in theater. He first appeared with Malibards in “Moonbirds” on Broadway in 1959 and starred opposite Jimmy Stewart in the 19th revival. Harvey on Broadway. “

Pope also portrayed Mrs. David on the ABC sitcom “Soap” and appeared on the CBS sitcom in “Kaluchi’s Department” and “Billy”.
