Chris Evans jokes with ‘tough’ Jeremy Renner after snowplow accident

As Jeremy Renner recovers from more than 30 broken bones after a freak accident involving his snowboard, Chris Evans is sending love to his “Avengers” co-star.
“It’s a tough excuse,” Evans responded to a photo of Renner in recovery. “Did anyone even check the snow cat??? Sending so much love.”
Rainer turned to Evans and said: “Dear brother… I checked on the snow cat, it needs fuel.”
Renner revealed over the weekend that he broke more than 30 bones in a Jan. 1 snowplow accident that left him hospitalized with blunt force trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries. In an attempt to help a family member whose car was stuck in the snow, Renner was driven by his Pistonbulli, or Snow-Cat, a very large piece of equipment weighing at least 14,000 pounds.
The “Hawkeye” and “Mayor of Kingstown” star is now recovering and undergoing physical therapy at home. “Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this special new year,” Rainer wrote in a Jan. 21 update on social media. “Gone from the tragedy for my entire family, and focused on putting together love that works quickly. I want to thank everyone for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and me. Much love and gratitude to you all.”
After the accident, Rainer kept fans updated on his health via social media. In a post from Jan. 5, Renner was present at the hospital and in good spirits as he joked about spending a spa day with his sister and mom. His eyes were swollen shut in the video and he was seen breathing through an oxygen mask at the time.
