Cinematographer Roger Dickinson received the Visnery Award from the View Conference

Academy Award-winning cinematographer Roger Dickens will receive the Visionary Award at the 2021 View Conference, which will be held in Turin, Italy from October 17 to October 22, both in person and in virtual events.

“Roger Dickinson is a truly living legend of filmmaking,” said conference director Maria Elena Guterres. “Throughout his career, he has captured some iconic and memorable images committed to the screen, from Tim Robbins to Ryan Gosling of” The Shashank Redemption “to” Blade Runner 2049 “to explore the dust-laden Las Vegas. Deakins will take part in a Q&A with Dean Deblos, director of the “How to Train Your Dragon” franchise, at the conference, which begins at noon PT on October 20.

Deakins has been nominated for 15 Oscars for cinematography, winning twice for his work in “Blade Runner 2049” and “1917”. His other credits include “Fargo,” “Hey Brother, Where Are You?”, “A Beautiful Mind,” “Skyfall,” and “Sicario,” and many more. Black-and-white photo collection.
