After taking a break from the show’s general artist-honored format last year, a pre-recorded spotlight on epidemic heroes, “CMT Artists of the Year” will return to both its live broadcast and the music celebrity celebrating its 2021 incarnation, set 13 For October.
Chris is the five stars selected for the Country Music Network 2021 Award Stapleton, Gabby Barrett, Why Brown, Kelsey Balerini And Luke Combs.
In this year’s class, two – Combs and Brown – holdover from 2019, when CMT presented the “Best Artist of the Year” in the latest conventional manner. This leaves Barrett, who is currently at the CMA Awards for Best New Artist, as a newcomer to the otherwise young-but-experienced bunch.
As in other years prior to 2020, the “Best Artists of the Year” will emerge live in the Eastern and Central Time Zone from an intimate hall at the Shermarhorn Symphony Center in Nashville. The 0-minute show will air at 9pm ET / PT and 8pm City.
