Columbia Records’ Katie Vinten is a senior VP at A&R

For another big move in the A&R division at Columbia Records, Katie Vinten has been nominated for the label as A&R’s senior vice president. The move was announced by Queen Hancock, the new executive VP of the Sony Music-owned label and head of A&R, which Vinton will report on.

“Katie’s thorough knowledge of the art of singing and her innate ability to nurture artists and creatives make her a wonderful addition to the Columbia Records A&R team,” Hancock said. “We’re thrilled to have him on board.”

“I am very excited to improve and learn under Ronnie [Columbia chairman Ron Perry’s] The leadership and I look forward to holding ourselves to a high standard as a legacy of the Columbia record, ”Winton said.

Vinten brings a broad background to the role. Prior to Columbia, he was co-head of A&R at Warner Chapel Music Publishing, where he worked closely with then-CEO John Platt এখন now chairman of Sony Music Publishing যেখানে where he signed hitmakers such as Julia Michaels, Justin Trenter (who wrote together).
