CRISALIS BENEFIT – Nick Cordo pays special tribute at different times

The Crystalis benefit was co-hosted by Jacques Braff, who became sensitive when talking about his best friend Cordor’s journey and introduced the cast of “Rock of Ages” in Los Angeles.
“Some heartfelt support came from Nick’s‘ Rock of the Ages ’organization [Cordero starred in the production as Dennis]. They come and they walk the baby, they come and throw food, throw flowers, throw wine, ”Braff said. “It’s been so hard, because we weren’t supposed to touch each other and all you want to do is hold on to them as friends and give them love. But the people in this group are the most amazing people, you can only hope that you “Rock of Ages has friends like the organization.”
Cordord’s wife, Amanda Clots, used a hashtag “#WalkUpnick” to inspire fans and loved ones to sing and dance on social media in support of the custodian.
Robert De Niro, Jamie Foxx, Max Greenfield, Ben Fieldman, Seth McFarlane, John Favreau and Jeff Ross also raised funds to help Crisalis’ mission to secure the employment of low-income people in the coronavirus epidemic.
Other performances included Anne Hathaway’s The Virtual Face Filter and Wigs from “Headwig and Angry Inch” to “Wig in a Box”, John Legend (A Blink from Daughter Lunar and You-Miss), Linda Perry and Villa. Amy, Gavin Rossdale, Natasha Biddingfield, Wallace, Josh Whitehouse, The War and Treaty and DJ Adam Bravin.
The big finale featured a performance by “The House Band”, a group of legendary musicians including Perry, Slash, Guns N ‘Roses’ Gilby Clark and Matt Sorum; Lzzy Hale (Halstrom); Jim Patrick (Survival); Blasko; Jimmy “Z” Javala; Bill Churchville and Mike Garson. Patrick also performed “Tiger’s Eye”, one of the most inspiring songs of all time when CVID patients were released after beating the virus through several hospital loudspeakers.
The virtual event was held instead of the nonprofit annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, with event chairs (Brown, Rebecca Guyhart Dane, Rick Hess, Josh Lieberman, Stacey Sher and Richard Waits) reunited to remove the live party in just two weeks. Crisalis president and CEO Mark Laronger told guests – who joined the bash via a private YouTube link after donating to the cause – that they had already raised 000 300,000 for the organization.
