Demi Lovato is selling the house she overused for $9.49 million.
The 5,546-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom home at 8080 Laurel View Drive went up for sale Monday morning, according to a listing on Zillow.
The singer was found in a Hollywood Hills home reportedly overdosed on oxycodone laced with the deadly substance fentanyl. Paramedics found him unconscious at home on Tuesday, July 24, and administered Narcan to reverse an opioid overdose. He spent 10 days at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and hasn’t returned home since, as he went straight into rehab after being released from the hospital.
Lovato bought the home in September 2016 for $8.3 million, and it quickly became plagued with problems. In January 2017, the house was in danger of sliding down the hillside after storms compromised the ground. A mudslide threatened his driveway On the side of the mountain. Documents from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety determined in July that the hillside problem had been corrected.
The home’s listing says it’s located on a quiet street above Chateau Marmont and “from downtown to the Pacific Ocean” and has an outdoor area that includes a grilling area, a zero-edge pool and a gazebo. Inside, there’s a chef’s kitchen with marble counter tops, a master suite with dual walk-in closets, a bar and media room, and a “sky lounge terrace.”
