Walt Disney World will shorten the theme park time starting in September.
After being closed for several months due to the coronavirus epidemic, Florida parks reopened in July with new health and safety procedures. On September 8, the hours of Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot will be reduced.
Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom will close one hour earlier than usual and Epcot will close two hours earlier.
Since Walt Disney World reopened in July, it has reduced its capacity, increased cleaning procedures and forced guests to wear masks inside the park. Last month, Disney banned eating while walking because some guests would use it as a loofah to avoid wearing a mask when walking around the park with food or drink.
On Tuesday, Disney executives revealed in an earnings call to investors that the company had suffered massive losses due to the closure of the theme park due to a coronavirus epidemic. Earnings fell 40% to .7 11.7 billion, while thin earnings per share for the quarter fell 94% to 8 cents, down from 3 1.34 a year earlier. Wall Street estimated earnings of ১২ 12.39 billion on the consolidated loss per share of 633 cents. The collapse of the theme park business was largely to blame, resulting in a loss of আ 3.5 billion in operating income and a loss of 2 2 billion.
Here are the new hours for Disney World:
Animal State: 9am to 5pm
Hollywood Studios: 10am to 7pm.
Epcot: 11am to 7pm.
Magic Kingdom: 9am to 6pm
