Dreamsica Media has released the trailer for ‘Ferguson Rises’

Dreamsicare Media, in collaboration with Films with Purpose, Yoruba Saxon and Filmco, has released a trailer for “Ferguson Rises”, which follows a national rollout in Liemele Monica on 1 Sep September.

Directed by Mobolaji Olambiwonnu, the film highlights the aftermath of protests following the police murder of 18-year-old Michael Brown Jr. in Ferguson, from residents to police officers to business owners, the “Ferguson Rises” chronicles 400 days of protests and the rise of Black Lives Matter.

Sandra Evers-Manley, TJ Martin, Gigi Pritzker, Kai Boye and RZA have executive productions, David Wells and Jessica Wells are also working as producers.

‘Dreamover’ won the Grand Prix at Films Dance

Dance with Films has announced its award winners, the grand jury award going to Roman Olkhovkar’s “Dreamover” at an awards ceremony on September 12 at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
Nani Lee Young’s “Under the Benny Tree” won the competitive feature, David Mahmoudi’s “Delicate State” for fusion and Justin Monroe’s “Holy Freet” documentary. The Grand Jury Award for shorts became “enough” to compose and direct Caleb Sline. The other short film winner was Brooke Trenter’s “Oh, Baby!” The Industry Choice Awards in the Over 400 category went to “Voodoo Macbeth” directed by Dagmaui Abe and “Pants Hoot” directed by Richard Rinse.

The TV award went to “Middle of Nowhere” directed by Michelle Palermo, the web trophy went to Alex Martinez’s “Spanky” and Andres Roy Arizar’s “Desalvido” to the Downbeat Award.
