Gabor is about to get lost in his first scripted podcast role on CDB.
“If I’m Missing the Witch’s Did It,” is a satirical paranormal thriller involving the mysterious disappearance of his character, from the podcast studio / network Realm to CDB (“Valuable,” “Empire”).
Pia Wilson (Staff Writer for National Geographic’s “Genius: Aretha”) writes that the satirical series follows Jenna (who starred in the CDB), who soaked the other half of her life after the summer in Westchester, lost without a trace. The only clue: a set of voice memos detailing the investigation of a group of influential people who suspected that they were using magic to get their way. The CD is joined by voice actor Sarah Natocheni (Ash Kechum, the English dub of “Pokemon”), who plays Alice, a white podcast host who took the reason to find Jenna with a savior complex.
The nine-episode podcast premieres on Sunday, September 2, with new episodes following weekly on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcast, Spotify and Stitcher.
“I am so excited to be working with Realm on my first fiction podcast character! As soon as I read Pia Wilson’s writing, I was overwhelmed with the show, “the CDB said in a statement. “It simply came to our notice then. After amassing a large library of shows that I listen to, I am now thrilled to be included in the library of other people who have lost themselves in a good story. “
Molly Burton, CEO and co-founder of Realm (formerly known as Serial Box), added: “New York writer Jenna Clayton’s Gabor screenplay will make you laugh, but more meaningfully জাতি capitalism will be critically involved with race, class, and problems. “
“If I Miss the Witch’s Dead It” was previously announced as part of Realm’s Summer / Fall 2021 slate.
Realm’s other original podcast productions include “Pretty Little Liars” written by Sarah Shepard and “Orphan Black: The Next Chapter” starring Tatiana Maslani, returning for the second season this fall. Realm also has a contract with Horror director and producer John Carpenter and Sandy King Carpenter of Storm King Productions for the “John Carpenter Presents” horror podcast.
In addition to distributing free, ad-supported podcasts, Realm’s shows are available through Realm Unlimited subscriptions, on Realm.fm and the Realm app (via Android and iOS). The subscription includes ad-free, initial access to the full library of Realm Original, as well as access to bonus content and other benefits.
Realm Apple has created a slate of shows exclusively featured via Realm Plus on podcast subscriptions: “The Vela,” “Low Life” and “The Shadow Files of Morgan Knox.”
