Global Citizen’s “One World: Together at Home” did not have a special COVID-19-era all-star show in mid-April. The organization announced on Sunday night that it has a new special offer – “Global Goal: United for Our Future – The Concert”, which will be published worldwide on June 27 on television, radio and streaming services in the United States, including NBC and iHeartMedia.

Dwayne Johnson will host the prime-time telecast, which is not a telephone but aims to “fight the undue effects of COVID-19 on marginalized populations” and urge governments around the world to make testing and future vaccines available to lesser beneficiaries.

Performers announced include Coldplay (one of the first artists to merge with Global Citizen), Covo, Miley Cyrus, Sakira, J. Balvin, Chloe X Haley, Christine and Queens, Usher and Justin Bieber in Yomi Alade.

The concert featured a discussion on scientific advances in vaccines and treatments, in particular “Global Goals: Unite for Our Future – Summit.”

Other celebrities who have starred in the concert telecast include Chris Rock, Olivia Coleman, Charlize Theron, Billy Porter, Hugh Jackman and many more. The “Summit” section will be led by journalists like Katie Kaurik and Mallika Kapoor and will include Cyrus, Angelique Kidzo and Ken Zheng in talks with outspoken leaders from Melinda Gates to NAACP President Derrick Johnson.

Hugh Evans, co-founder / CEO of Global Citizen, said in a statement, “Global citizens around the world are calling for systemic change, a change that brings justice to everyone, regardless of where they are born or what their skin color is.” If we want to end CWID-19 for all, our world leaders must pledge the billions of dollars needed for testing, treatment and vaccine deliveries in the survey. Evans said he hopes the concert will “serve as a motivator for change and change, combined with science and information to honor problem solvers – including doctors, scientists, lab workers, essential staff and human rights lawyers – who are not just competing to cure Kavid-19.” Do it, but also make sure it’s available to everyone who needs it. “

The concert will be co-hosted by Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Lion.

Streaming services include Apple, YouTube, Tide, Yahoo !, Brute, Roku, Twitch and Insight TV. Additional broadcasters include Baria TV, Bloomberg Television, Fundaci আজn Azteca, MediaCorp, MSNBC, MTV, SiriusXM, Sony Channel Latin America and Turner Latin America outside the United States, worldwide broadcasters ADD, Canal + Group, CTV TV, Brazil’s Grapo Globo, Africa’s Multichoice Group and SABC, Asia’s Fuji TV and Star India and Australia’s Channel Nine.
