Hassan Minhaj will voice Gotham’s infamous Quizmaster – The Ridler – in an upcoming scripted podcast from Spotify in partnership with Warner Bros. and DC.
Minhaj (“Patriotic Law with Hassan Minhaj,” “The Daily Show,” “Homecoming King”) joins the cast of executive producer David S. Gower (“The Dark Knight Rises”) superhero thriller, previously announced by Bruce Wayne / Batman Jason Isaacs as Winston Duke and Alfred as Bruce’s right-hand man.
Also appearing on the “Batman Unburied” cast are Lance Reddick (“The Wire,” “John Wick,” “Lost”) and Tox Olagundoye (“Castle,” “The Neighbor”) as Bruce Wayne’s parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne. In addition, John Rice-Davis (“The Lord of the Rings,” “Indiana Jones”), in the role of Dr. Hu Hunter, the talented psychiatrist patiently assisted Bruce in his trauma; And Ashley Birch (“Mythical Quest”) as Vicky Vell, Bruce’s ex-girlfriend and Gotham’s most popular evening TV News Hour reporter.
Spotify has not yet given a release date for “Batman Unburied”, which was announced in the last letter. The series is the first project under a multi-year contract signed by Warner Bros. and Audio Streamer with DC for a series of scripted podcasts.
“Batman Unburied” is described as a psychological thriller that will take listeners on a new journey deeper into Bruce Wayne’s mind চালু introducing dark twists and turns with several classic Batman super-villains. At the beginning of the story, Owen is a forensic pathologist who works on the intestines of Gotham Hospital and is tasked with examining the victims of The Harvester, a horrific serial killer who preys on Gotham citizens. As Batman, Wayne overcame his mental ghost to save the citizens of Gotham.
