Khurana said: “Guneet is an incredible collaborator, a master at creating special stories to watch and listen to. I have immense respect for the way he believes in a director’s vision and lets the story fly. I had the most beautiful experience working on our short film and I think we both made a pact in an unspoken way to collaborate on many things together in the future. Our energies were so aligned and I’m excited that the vision we had is now becoming a reality and we’re coming together with a film that we both truly believe in.”

Manga added: “Tahira is a really good writer with a deep understanding of human relationships. He is able to convey these intimate connections through his exquisite writing. As a production house, we were drawn to ‘Pinni’ because of the truly empowering story as well as the subtext. His view of this world and his understanding of it cut across the class. I find Tahira’s perspective and sensibility really interesting.”
