Jay Cole’s new song, Drake’s ‘Pipe Down’ over raps on ‘Heaven’s EP’

J. Cole gave fans a surprise by releasing a new video and song titled “Heaven’s EP” on Tuesday to show that he is the only two-week-old “Certified Lover Boy” album of the Canadian paper rapper to the tune of Drake’s “Pipe Down”.

Cole raps on track:

“Some people say I’m running third, they throw bronze at me.”

In May of this year, Cole shared his sixth studio album, The Off-Season. The 12-track project debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and boasted the presence of 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Bus, 6 Lac and Moore.

As previously mentioned in “Pipe Down”, the remastered beat for Cole “Heaven’s EP” was included in Drake’s record-breaking album CLB. The project debuted at number 1 on the Billboard charts in its first week and it moved to 613,000 album-equivalent units, making it the biggest debut of 2021.

In other news, Cole is set to launch his “off-season tour,” which also featured Morare, 21 Savage and Druski in Miami on Friday. Thet tour is in support of his recent album of the same name.
