Jonathan Price, Lawrence Fishburn ‘Join All the Old Knives’

Amazon Studios ’espionage thriller“ All Old Knives ”has added actors Jonathan Price and Lawrence Fishburn.

Directed by Janus Metz, the stage and screen stars join the previously announced Chris Pine and Thandi Newton in the project.

Based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Olen Steinhauer, who also adapted the screenplay, “Knox” was produced in collaboration with Chockstone Pictures, Nick Wechler Productions and Jackson Pictures Eon.

The film follows ex-lovers Henry (Pine) and Celia (Newton) – a CIA spy, a former spy – who meet for dinner at the Vienna station to reminisce about their time together. The conversation leads to the devastating hijacking of Royal Jordanian Flight 127, which ended in the death of everyone on board. That failure still haunts the CIA today, and Henry tries to close the book on that seed chapter. After plenty of dinner, it became clear that none of them would survive the meal.

Producer is the Choxtone film ‘Steve Schwartz and Paula May Schwartz, Nick Wechler and Jackson Pictures’ Matt Jackson. Pine is performing through her Barry Lennon productions, including Joan Lee of Jackson Pictures, Kate Churchill of Churchill Films and Richard Hewitt and Mark Gordon of Mark Gordon Pictures.

Price is best known for his work in films such as the acclaimed British actor, “Glenzari Glenn Ross,” the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise and, in contrast, the Academy Award-nominated Glenn Close “The Wife”. His recent TV credits include HBO’s “Game of Thrones” ‘s High Sparrow and the BBC’s “Wolf Hall”‘ s Cardinal Ulcy. He was recently nominated for an Oscar for “The Popes” and is one of the few actors to have won the Olivier and Tony Awards for his performances in both drama and musical instruments.

Fishburn is an award-winning actor, producer and director best known for his role as Morpheus in the Wachovsky Sisters’ “The Matrix” trilogy. Eastwood’s “Mystic River.” Fishburn won a Tony in 1992 for his portrayal of Sterling Johnson in August Wilson’s “Two Trains Running”. Award winner.
