The movie cooked and shot during COVID-19 may be the gamble of this climate – but introduce it to the indomitable talents of John David Washington and Gendarmerie and have a winning recipe for your success, even at the Academy Awards. “Malcolm and Marie” is an actor’s showcase, it uses the most subtle tendencies and sensibilities of his acting artists, both to find a place to play the lead character.

Written and directed by Sam Levinson, the film tells the story of director Malcolm and his girlfriend Mary, who, one evening after the premiere of his latest movie, examines the height and shortness of their relationship while waiting for a critical response.

Did you know that Oscar loves more than movies? Movies about “movies”. Sprinkle a director fighting to express his art through cinema and the academy voters, especially men, will be salivating for its foundation and execution. Washington’s best work has surpassed his work in Spike Lee’s “Black Clashman” which just missed the Oscar cut. Cementing his place as the future of the Hollywood industry, it could be his entry into the grace of the academy.

Zendia is one of the biggest stars in the world, slowly but surely showing her acting range from blockbusters like HBO’s hit-series “Euphoria” to “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, for which she has been named Best Actress for Best Actress. 2019 drama series she Can she surpass this year’s best actress race which can be as fast and competitive as before? It’s possible, and to imagine a lineup that includes Viola Davis with her, would be Amy’s first black woman, one of the best actresses in a drama series, a stick-cutting moment for the next wave of different actors.

Outside of the acting department, Levinson will become a favorite of a certain population in the directorial branch, who see the film as a living metaphor for their entire existence. Filmmakers, especially writers, may have a more unfounded, less impressed group, who will fight for maximum dialogue. It reminded me of the story behind Darren Aronofsky’s “Mother”! Which covers the entire cover of the film critique with its divisive reception. It was widely shared that Arnofsky wrote the film over a weekend. Compared to Levinson, who wrote the screenplay in eight days, this beginning and creation probably served as an echo of personal feelings. It may be difficult for Academy-A-Large to respond to this, but such predictions can be difficult to read very quickly.

Marcel Rao’s cinematography has been officially created, and members of this branch can fall in love.

If the best image comes in the category, if enough voters go for it, there needs to be history made. In addition to Levinson and his wife, Ashley Levinson, both Washington and Zendaya are producing. One of Netflix’s other features, “Mother Rainy’s Black Bottom,” nominated alongside “Malcolm and Mary,” will make Washington and his father Denzel the first father-son pair to be nominated alongside each other in the department’s history.

If Zendaya is nominated for Best Picture, check out her many record-breaking boxes. She will be the second black woman to be nominated in the category after Oprah Winfrey for “Selma” in 2014. She will also be the most nominated black woman in one year of history tied to Mary J. Blizzard.

Notably, if she is nominated alongside Nicole Behari (“Miss Junimenti”), Viola Davis (“Mother Rainer’s Black Bottom”) and Andra Day (“USA vs. Billy Holiday” as well as any controversial black actress) More than one black woman will be nominated for Best Actress in the same year.

At 24, she will be the youngest female producer in the department’s history. Even more importantly, she would be the first woman to be nominated for acting and production if nominated for both film and actress. Frances McDormand from “Nomland” is also set to break the same record.

Not to mention that Washington and Gendarme will be the first leadership nominees, if that happens.

When it comes to winning, which is very close to contact with the field of this broad actress, if she overcomes adversity, she joins only Halle Berry as the Black Woman to win this category in 93 years. She could also become the first actress to win an Emmy and an Oscar the same year after Helen Mirren. In the end, he will be the youngest winner of all time, surpassing Audrey Hepburn in 1953’s “Roman Holiday” behind Joan Fontaine in 1951’s “Doubt”.

Quite a feat and of course a passionate battle. It could all break his path.

“Malcolm and Mary” will be released on Netflix on February 5.
