The annual Met Gala may be the pinnacle of East Coast entertainment, but make no mistake, Hollywood will show up perfectly.

This year, of course, happened to the guests of American classic gentleman designer Thom Brown, who started shooting bare ankles and continuing his game of street wear.

At her table at this year’s gala, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” includes: actors Pete Davidson, Amanda Steinberg, Sharon Stone, MJ Rodriguez and Lee Paes; Composers Lil Uzi Vert and Erica Badu; And comedian and late night host Jimmy Fallon.

Diversity Just before their debut on the Met’s iconic, red-carpet stage, Thom Brown has an exclusive look at the rocking group. Returning personally on Monday, which was originally considered an “Oscar of fashion” and a fundraiser for the museum’s prestigious costume institute, Brown invited top creators as they presented the concept of authentic American style.

“Everyone is almost like family. They’ve worn me in the past, seen my collection and I’m very familiar with what they do. There is mutual respect, for me it starts from there, ”Brown said Diversity. “What you see at my table is representative of American fashion and how it is seen around the world.”

Brown’s partner is Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute, the subject of the favorite 2016 Met Gala documentary “First Monday in May”. Brown says his guests are united with the larger theme of the show, which proves that American aesthetics are diverse, bold and “a good mix of people who are true to themselves.”

Brown presented her spring 2022 ready-to-wear outfit in New York City on Saturday, which marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, but also saw hopes of returning to public events.

“We’re still in it, but it’s nice to get back to the way we used to work,” Brown said.

For several recent collections, Brown has been promoting his work through short films in collaboration with stars such as “Minary” breakout Alan S. Kim and performance artist Moza Sumni. We asked if he would ever go the way of Tom Ford and get into Hollywood filmmaking?

“My day job keeps me very busy. For the past year and a half I have been showing collections through movies. I love telling stories and it was a small way of a little diving, but I want to tell a story through movies one day, ”he said.
