Midsummer Flower Dress Academy sells variety for 65,000

The Academy Museum is now the proud owner of the iconic floral costume of the “Midsomer” Florence Puj. The organization behind the Oscars was the highest bidder at the auction held by A24 and continued the coronavirus relief effort. The final bid went up to 24 65,000 per A24 website, but the academy declined to confirm the museum price.
The May Queen dress is a multi-props, wardrobe item and set piece that is being auctioned off to raise money for the 24 Degree FDNY Foundation, a nonprofit that supports New York City firefighters and their families affected by the coronavirus epidemic. To date, the A24 auction has raised more than ,000 200,000 to benefit New York City’s most vulnerable communities.
