Netflix’s ‘The Mother’ joins Joseph Fiennes to cast Gail Garcia Bernal

Joseph Fiennes, a deadly thriller starring Jennifer Lopez, Omari Hardwick and Gayle Garcia Bernal have joined the cast of “The Mother”.

Paul Rossi, who recently received an Oscar nomination for “Sound of Metal” and newcomer Lucy Payez (“Silencio”) has been added to the Netflix film’s call sheet.

The film follows a deadly assassin (Lopez) who goes into hiding to save a girl (Payez) who was abandoned a few years ago, while fleeing from dangerous people. Hardwick is playing the role of an FBI agent. In addition to his character, Resi is described as an ally of Lopez’s character. Fianc এবং and Bernal would say dangerous men.

“The Mother” will be directed by Nicki Caro, who is best known for his remakes of Disney’s “Mulan”, “The Zucker’s Wife” and “The Whale Rider”. “Lovecraft Country” exhibitor Mischa Green writes the screenplay, including Andrea Burlf’s current revision (“Straight Outta Compton”).

“The Mother” will be the first feature under Lopez’s newly announced creative partnership between New Yorkian Productions and Netflix. Benny Medina and Molly Allen will work as executive producers.

Fiennes, known for romantic times such as “Shakespeare in Love” and “Elizabeth”, was a regular on Hulu’s dystopian drama series “The Handmaids Tale”. Bernal, a recognized face of “Y Tu Mama Tambien,” “Bad Education” and “Mozart in the Jungle”, starred in the latest M Night Shyamlan’s rolled thriller “Old”. Hardwick’s notable credits include “Army of the Dead”, Starz TV show “Power”, “Kick-Ass” and “Sorry to bother you.”
