Peacock, NBC Universal’s new streaming service will be available across the United States from July 15, will be available on Google platforms and devices, including Android, Android TV, Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices, the media company has announced.

Under the agreement, Android and Android TV users will have complimentary access to Peacock Premium (with ads) by October 15, 2020.

So far, NBCU has announced peacock deals with Apple and Microsoft’s Xbox – but so far the top two players, Roku and Amazon Fire TV (which holds HBO Max), have not signed deals.

In April, Peacock’s “early preview” brought Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Flex to customers at no extra cost.

July 15th, Peacock is set to launch extensively in several versions: here’s a free, ad-supported level that spans over 7,500 hours of movies, shows, and programming across news, sports, reality, and deep night. Peacock Premium delivers more than 15,000 hours of content, usually priced by purchasing the Google Play app every month on Android and Android TV (after three months of free deal rolls off). For $ 9.99 a month, users can upgrade to an ad-free level of Peacock Premium.

“With Google’s wider customer reach, millions of people will be able to start streaming Peacock on their preferred platform or device this July,” said Maggie McLean Sunwick, president of business development and partnerships for Maggie. “We’ve made Peacock Free for our distribution partners, including Google, because we want people everywhere to have Peacock Flow and Peacock Premium promotions demonstrate their commitment to delivering incredible value to our mutual customers.”

Peacock recently announced the original programming available on launch, including “Brave New World,” “Capture,” “Intelligence,” and “Lost Speedways”; Sports documentary “Ryan Lochte Deep In”; And the full-length film “Psych 2: Lacey Come Home.”

The streamer features access to hundreds of movies from NBC and Telemundo to current season programming, such as “Jurassic Park,” “Do Right Thing” and “Shrek”; And comedy “Park and Entertainment,” “30 Rock,” “Sunday Night Live,” “King of Queens,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Frasier,” “Old TV, including George Lopez. Shows, “” Psych, “” Monk “and” Cheers “; “Law and Order: SVU,” “Downton Abbey,” “Yellowstone,” “Friday Night Lights,” “House,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Parenthood,” “Heroes”; And the children’s programming “Carius George,” DreamWorks animation’s “Where’s Waldo?” And “Cleopatra in Space”.

The peacock will include daily programming highlights from NBC News “Today,” “NBC Nightly News,” “Meet the Press,” as well as “Noticias Telemundo,” MSNBC, CNBC, NBC Sports, E!
