Orange Studios, the Paris-based film and TV arm of Orange Orange, France’s leading telco operator, has targeted SND’s longtime international sales leader Charlotte Boukon.
Baucon will be head of global sales at Orange Studios from September 1 and will report to Christina Zimmerman, managing director of the French studio.
Under the newly created role, Bokon will manage all the commercial activities of the film branch of Orange Studios, especially international sales, video, VOD and TV. Among the staff in the department is Emily Ceres, vice president of sales at Orange Studios. Boukon will work with David Market, an experienced sales executive who ran the department for several years.
After graduating from EDHEC Business School, he joined SND, the commercial division of the French TV network M of, in 2002 and has been leading the group’s international distribution since 2015. French comedy “The Women on the Sixth Floor” with Fabrice Luchini, Jalil Lespert’s biopic “Eves Saint Laurent”, Eric Lartigau’s “La Family Beliar” which was remade in “Koda”, Omar C. starring “To Is a Fame” Several animated features, including “The Jungle Bunch” and “Asterix and the Vikings”. The Honorary Executive is also the VP of the Guild for Film Sales Agents (ADEF).
Orange Studio’s sales slate includes Francesca Archibugi’s “Il Collibri”, Pietro Marcelo’s “Scarlett” and Pan Nalin’s (“Family”) India-set story “The Last Film Show” which premiered worldwide at Tribeca this year. The banner’s French distribution roster, including “The Son”, follows the Florian jailer’s Oscar-winning “The Father.”
