Oscar nominations 2023: Complete list of nominees

The current Oscar season is heading into its home stretch as nominations for this year’s Academy Awards were announced Tuesday morning.
Riz Ahmed, who won the Oscar for best live-action short last year, and Allison Williams, who currently stars in the horror hit “M3GAN,” announced the nominees at 5:30 a.m. PT live on the Academy’s website, YouTube, Facebook . Twitter and ABC’s “Good Morning America” and “ABC News Live.”
Top contenders in the morning’s nominations include “The Banshees of Inisharine,” “Elvis,” “Everything Everything All at Once,” “The Fablemans,” “All Quiet on the Western Front,” “Tar” and “Top Gun: Maverick.” At the Golden Globes earlier this month, “The Fablemans” won best drama and Steven Spielberg won best director, while “The Banshees of Inisharine” won best comedy or musical, best screenplay and lead actor for Colin Farrell.
The 2023 Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theater in Ovation Hollywood. Jimmy Kimmel returns as host, after previously leading the awards show in 2017 and 2018. Last year, the Oscars returned to a host format with Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall, after being host-less the previous two years.
