Personalized pitches in 5 sections – Variety

This year, YouTube’s annual Brand Marketing event will have a completely different look and feel – it’s only happening online, as personal interview events took place during COVID-19.

And the video giant has come to segregation as an opportunity to do something different and reach a larger audience of marketers and agencies. YouTube’s Brandcast Delivery will provide personal marketing pitches highlighting the platform’s content in five different categories: learning and education, fun and entertainment, lifestyle and fashion, food and recipes, and sports.

The YouTube Broadcast distribution will take place on Thursday, June 25, at 12:10 a.m. as part of YouTube ET, IAB’s 2020 Newfront series.

The presentation will feature YouTube Executor, including CEO Susan Wozniacki, but will not be live – and each individual video pitch is expected to be lower than in previous years’ hour-plus broadcast events.

A series of questionable emails will soon be sent to those invited to the broadcast distribution that will allow YouTube to create customized Newfront programming for that person. On June 25, participants will be sent a personalized link for an on-demand video presentation based on their genre of content of interest.

After the show, playlists with content will be placed on the broadcast site, allowing advertisers to explore additional interests or check what they missed. Videos are also available on
