Disney’s 20th Century Studios is developing a fifth “Hunter” film with “10 Cloverfield Lane” director Dan Trachenberg.
Patrick Eisen, whose television credits include the “Kingdom”, “Jack Ryan” and “Treadstone” series, was hired to write the script.
Four “Hunter” movies have grossed 44 443 million worldwide, with Davis making each. The original “Predator” was published in 1987 and was directed by John McTiranan. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Wethers and Jesse Ventura wept by a terrifying extrovert in a jungle in Central America while commandos played to rescue hostages, Kevin Peter Hall played.
Stephen Hopkins starred Danny Glover, Ruben Blades, Gary Busse, Maria Conchita Alonso and Bill Paxon with Hani in 1990’s “Hunter 2”, who reclaimed the role of Predator in a story a decade after the first film. The Predator character titled Fox’s 2004 crossover film “Alien vs. Predator” and the 2007 sequel “Aliens vs. Predator: Request”.
“Hunter”, a 2010 installment, centers on a class of mercenaries and assassins who took an unfamiliar game to the jungle planet to fight against super hunters. Directed by Nimrad Antal, starring Adrin Brody, Toffer Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins and Lawrence Fishburn.
The fourth film “The Predator” was released in 2018 and directed by Shane Black, who was one of the original commandos of 1987. With Black, a script directed by Fred Decker, he writes about a group of soldiers and a scientist attacking an attacking pair. Actors include Boyd Holbrook, Travent Rhodes, Jacob Trumbull, Kegan-Michael Key, Olivia Moon, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jack Busey and Yvonne Strahovsky.
Trachtenberg made his directorial debut with the 201 sci sci-fi thriller “10 Cloverfield Lane”, which nominated him to the American Directors Guild as the best first-time director in a feature. Trachenberg is re-ranked by ICM Partners and Grandview. Ison has been re-positioned by ICM partners and circles of confusion. The news was first reported by Deadline Hollywood.
