Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’: Indian crime drama first look unveiled

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Prannoy Reddy Bhangar’s Bhadrakali Pictures, the first look poster of popular Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor starrer “Pashoo” is released.

The film is in the crime drama genre and promises to depict Kapoor in a never-before-seen avatar. Plot details are under wraps. It is directed by Sandeep Reddy Bhanga, who made his debut with the 2017 Telugu-language hit “Arjun Reddy” starring Vijay Deverkonda. Banga remade the Hindi-language film as “Kabir Singh”, starring Shahid Kapoor, which was one of the blockbusters of 2019.

The “Beast” cast also includes Anil Kapoor (“Jug Jug Jyo”), Rashmika Mandana (“Pushp: The Rise – Part 1”), Bobby Deol (“Ashram”) and Tripti Dimri (“Kaala”) in lead roles.

“Prani” is part of T-Series Films’ 100-film slate in various Indian languages. T-Series and Cine1 Studios have jointly produced “Bhool Bhulaiya 2”, one of the biggest Bollywood hits of 2022. Bhadrakali Pictures earlier produced “Arjun Reddy”.

The filmmakers said: “We are extremely happy to present the first look poster of this magnum opus crime drama starring Ranbir Kapoor. After much-building anticipation after the announcement of the film, we are delighted to unveil the first glimpse to the audience. Ranveer’s look in the poster justifies the essence of the film very well and we are sure that the audience will witness a film that they deserve.”

Kapoor had two releases as the lead in 2022. Action drama “Shamshera” underperformed while Disney’s “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva,” the first in a planned sci-fi trilogy based on Indian mythology, was one of the biggest hits of the year. .

“Prani” will hit theaters on August 11, 2023 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada-language versions.
