Producer and music supervisor Randall Poster has partnered with Lordon Weinright III and the great band leader / banned-era scholar Vince Giordano for a new project built around the book of Great American songs.

The poster has provided music for more than 100 films, including “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Childhood” and “Skyfall.” Her first credits were in 1995’s “Kids” directed by Larry Clark and “The Crossing Guard” directed by Shane Payne.

He also made it earlier this year DiversityTen music supervisors to watch the movie “Waves”. Working alongside Meghan Courier and Joe Rouge, Randall continued to shoot for the moon. The trio has preserved more than 30 songs from high-profile artists such as Kanye West, A7 AP Rocky, Tame Impala, Radiohead, Frank Ocean and Central Lamar, and without much fighting.

Giordano’s credits include “The Irishman” and “The Wonderful Mrs. Michelle.” His 11-piece band The Nighthawks has been a staple of New York City nightclub scenes for 30 years.

The trio joined together with a shared passion for music and joined through their work on HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” – the poster was the show’s music supervisor; Giordano appeared in the series and appeared on the soundtrack; And Wainwright recorded vocals for a few of the show’s songs.

Wainwright, who has served as a singer, says of the “I’d rather lead a band” experience: “I just like the idea of being a vocalist. It was free, because I could shower my Loudon Weinrite third-ness. I will definitely be back in my first incarnation, but I have had the great pleasure of coming back with this great band and singing these songs. “

For the past several years, Wynnright’s activities have been extensive. In the 1960’s, his one-man show – “Surviving Twins” – based on his father’s Life magazine column, traveled internationally and became a Netflix special with the help of Christopher Guest and Jude Apato. He published his memoir “Liner Notes” and in 2018 released a 42-track “audio-biography” of the rare, offbeat recording.
