There is a lot going on on FuboTV these days.

The stand-alone TV provider has announced an increase of 5 per month for all its packages. This comes after Fubutiv11 lost WarnerMedia / Turner networks – and before ESPN and other Disney networks joined the lineup.

As of Wednesday, July 1, WarnerMedia Networks suites – TNT, TBS, CNN, CNN International, CNN N Espaol, HLN, Cartoon Network, Adult Swimming, Turner Classic Films, TrueTV and Boomerang – have re-signed the deal. Was disabled.

“We are disappointed that our contract with FubotV is not being renewed, as we continue to work with them and are open to possible renewal,” Warnermedia said in a statement.

In a message on its customer-service site, FubTV said, “Sometimes, you need to remove our other channels and adjust subscription prices to help us bring new channels and provide premium features like 4K Live Sports. So, Turner Networks July 1 Till Fubutivi leaves “”

FuboTV’s price hike comes ahead of the addition of ESPN and other Disney-owned networks under an agreement with Disney Media Networks announced last week. They are scheduled to join Fubutivi sometime in August.

Under the new pricing plan, Fubu Standard rose 9% per month to $ 59.99; The family bundle increased from 8% to, 64.99. These increases are effective from 1 August.

Meanwhile, FootTV’s Ultra Bundle – which includes a showtime channel and additional sports and entertainment networks – is now priced at $ 84.99 per month (up from 99 999.99), with prices changing for new subscribers on June 30th. FubotVT last increased the rate in March 2019.

Once installed as a cheaper alternative to traditional cable and satellite TV, OTT television packages have steadily increased their rates – and they are no longer bargains. Google’s YouTube TV this week raised the price of its base package by 30% to $ 65 a month after news of Fubutivi’s rate hike.

“Over the past year, we’ve added dozens of local, national and international channels to FubTV, including local CBS, Fox and NBC approved, including GetVT, NBC LX, Flavored, TDNXTra and many more,” FubTV said in an FAQ about the rate hike on the website. Coming this August, you’ll find FX, Disney, Disney Jr., ESPN and more, as well as more Disney and ESPN channels. “

Before expanding to add more general entertainment and news channels to the virtual pay-TV service, FootTV was first launched in 2015 as a football-streaming service.

Compared to other “virtual” pay-TV players, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and Dish’s Sling TV are also much smaller. At the end of 2012, it had 315,789 subscribers, up 37% year-on-year, according to FuboTV.

Earlier this year, New York-based Fubutivi merged with Facebookbank Group, a technology company that creates digital comparisons of celebrities and sports stars. The combined company’s 2019 revenue rose 96% year-on-year to 14 146.5 million, with FuboTV services presenting 13 133.3 million of that.
