The 20th anniversary of David Lynch’s iconic surrealist mystery-drama 4K recovery is to get a home entertainment release from StudioCanal and Criteria Collection.
In 2001, 20 years after the world premiere of the Cannes film, Lynch regained his oversight, premiering the Cannes Classics election earlier this year. In 2001, Lynch won Cannes Best Director, an award he shared with Joel Cohen for “The Man Who Not That”.
The film will be released for home entertainment, formats with a limited collector’s edition of 4K UHD Rolls out across the StudioCanal area in November, including a new artwork by Kristystof Domaradzaki, with additional theatrical releases planned in France and Germany.
“Mulholland Drive” features Naomi Watts (“The Impossible”) in her groundbreaking dual role, as well as Laura Harring (“Love during Cholera”), Justin Theroux (“The Girl on the Train”) and Melissa George (“The Hunt”).
