Rob Zombie’s Munster Mansion is almost complete. The filmmaker and musician recently posted an update by sharing a series of photos of Mockingbird Lane on his Instagram.
“It’s a beautiful day in Budapest and the old Mockingbird Lane is coming up perfectly. Who doesn’t want to be here?”
Zombie is sharing plans for the upcoming big screen adaptation of her “The Monsters” TV series via her Instagram page.
The update follows a post earlier this month where Zombie teased, “The crew is working hard to keep 1313 alive. You can see the iconic house is starting to come out. This talented team of carpenters and painters is trying to perfectly recreate every little detail.” .
As mentioned earlier, the director will build Mockingbird Lane for this film adaptation, filmed in Budapest, Hungary. The original Munster House used in the 1 Mun – 6 series, located at 11131 M Mockingbird Lane, had an outdoor set in Universal Studios.
She peeked into creating costumes and makeup for famous families. “The good old Herman’s flathead equipment is out of the mold and ready for painting,” writes another post about the ancestor of the zombie family.
Although no cast has been released yet, she shared the costume design in the film to pay homage to the show’s classic costumes. “A few more pieces of classic clothing are working. Herman and Lily the Munsters have quite a wide range of costumes, ”he wrote in a post on Concept Art.
Zombies have been running after the movie for 20 years. He began directing horror films in the early 2000s, most notably the remake of “1000 Dead Houses”, “The Devil’s Reject” and 2007’s John Carpenter’s “Halloween” as well as its sequel “Halloween II”. The project will be at Universal’s 1440 Home Entertainment, the studio’s live-to-video entertainment label.
