Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland have joined their “Avengers” costumes সাথে with year-old Bridger Walker, who rescued his younger sister from an attacking dog on July 9.
Bridger’s aunt Nicole Knoll Walker first caught the attention of Captain America actor Chris Evans in an Instagram post on July 12 where he tagged several “Avengers” actors. Walker asked them to provide a sound of encouragement to Bridger, who endured several bites on his head and sewed 90 stitches after protecting his younger sister.
Since then, Walker has documented every conversation between the celebrity and Bridger via social media. On July 16, Walker shared that Evans had sent a video message to Bridger promising to give him an authentic Captain America Shield, and now Downey Jr. and Holland have followed him.
In a video message to Bridger, Downey Jr. in the role of Iron Man tried to present the gift of one-up Evans.
“Bridger, you’re a rockstar,” Downey Jr. said. “I hear [Captain America] Send a sental your way. I’m going to do one more good, you call me on your next birthday. I got something special for you. “
Spider-Man star Tom Holland responded to a video call with Bridger, who wore a full Spidey costume.
“I mean, you’re very brave, mate,” Holland said. “We’re all proud of you and your little sister is so lucky to have someone like you.”
Holland then invited Bridger to come and set the time for the shooting of the next “Spider-Man” movie.
“We’re going to be shooting for‘ Spider-Man 3 ’and if you ever want to set up and hangout and see the Spider-Man suite up close, you’re always welcome,” Holland said.
Mark Ruffalo, Brie Larson, Robbie Amel and Grant Gustin also commented on Walker’s original post, praising Bridger’s bravery and calling him a true hero.
“People who put the welfare of others before themselves are the most heroic and thoughtful people I have ever known. I truly respect and appreciate your courage and heart,” Rufallo wrote. “The real courage is to know exactly what to do and to do it even when it can hurt you in some way. You are more than many people, I have seen or know.”
