Ron Howard, Paul Figg in Newport Beach Film Festival TV Special

PBS SoCal and KCET are partnering with the Newport Beach Film Festival for the broadcast premiere of “Newport Beach Film Festival Honors,” airing Sunday. The 30-minute special will be hosted by Janelle Riley, of diversity Deputy Awards and Features Editor, and includes interviews with event honorees such as Eddie Redmayne, Jonathan Majors, Patton Oswalt, Keke Palmer, Aubrey Plaza, Colson Baker and Paul Feig. diversityIts 10 actors to watch.

Redmayne and Figg were honored with the Icon Award and Career Achievement Award, respectively.

The Newport Beach Film Festival Honors will air Jan. 8 at 4:30pm on PBS SoCal. Encores will air January 11 at 7:30pm on KCET and January 12 at 7:30pm on PBS SoCal. The show will also be available for complimentary streaming on the PBS app and PBS SoCal website.
