Porn star Ron Jeremy has pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape and one count of sexual harassment as 25 new allegations of sexual abuse have surfaced.
The specific charges Jeremy pleaded not guilty to included three counts of rape, one count of sexual battery, three counts of forced entry by a foreign object, and one count of forced oral sex.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles County authorities received 25 new sexual abuse charges against Jeremy this week, 13 of which occurred in Southern California.
On Friday, Deputy District Attorney Paul Thompson told the court that the new allegations, ranging from acts of resorting to sexual violence, added that it was “certainly possible” that they would result in new charges.
The eight allegations stemmed from allegations made by four women about incidents that took place between 2014-19. Three women accused Jeremy of sexually abusing them at a West Hollywood bar, and one woman claimed Jeremy raped her at a West Hollywood home.
Jeremy, 67, could face up to 90 years in prison if convicted. After surrendering to authorities on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Times. He is in jail in lieu of মিল 6.6 million bail. His next court appearance is due in late August.
In a statement to Rolling Stone in November 2017, Jeremy denied sexually abusing anyone.
“These allegations are pure lies or the remorse of buyers,” he said at the time. “I have never raped anyone and never did.
