Sony / ATV Chairman and CEO John Platt added: “Bobby is a talented young lyricist with a bright future ahead of him. We are proud to support his career, and I am confident that we will achieve great success together as a team. “
Sony / ATV also announced an administration deal with lyricist and producer Freddie Wexler. Achievements on tracks such as Marshmallow and Halsy’s “Be Kind” and Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s “Stock with You”, Los Angeles-based Wexler Jackson Penn has released music under pseudonyms.
Wexler’s publishing career began in 2006 when he was out of his teens and signed to EMI. Artists he has worked with include Demi Lovato, Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Pink, Pusha T and Celine Dion.
Slade Platt says: “I remember when Freddie, a 19-year-old ambitious man, signed his first publishing contract and the ethics of his incredible work saw him achieve the right success. As a lyricist Freddie has a special ability to nurture long lasting relationships while creating great music and I’m excited about our reunion at Sony / ATV.
