Spotify signed a special contract for a podcast hosted by Lauren Simmons, who was the youngest woman of all time to work as a full-time stock trader on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
In the podcast, “Mind Body Wealth with Lauren Simmons,” he sits down to have conversations with guests from different industries so they can unveil their relationship with money and how they got their minds and bodies to run money for them. Simmons and his guests will be busy chatting extensively, everything from debt to credit scores, and from shopping to dating-looking to zero in on building a healthy relationship with money.
The show will premiere next Wednesday, September 229, exclusively on Spotify. New episodes will air next Wednesday. Spotify has ordered 24 episodes of “Mind Body Wealth with Lauren Simmons”.
In 2017, when she was 22, Simmons became the youngest full-time female entrepreneur on the NYSE and the second black woman to hold such a position in the exchange’s history. Simmons later revealed that he earned only $ 12,000 a year on the job. Since leaving his position as a stock trader in late 2018, he has continued to break the mold as an entrepreneur, producer, writer and – soon – Spotify podcast host.
Among other projects, Simmons is working as a co-executive producer on a biographical film about his life set for star Kiersey Clemons (“Dope”) from AGC Studios. Simmons is also writing a book on personal finance and hosting a show for the web docsary “Public.”
