Academy Award-winning actor Susan Sarandon (“The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” “Thelma and Lewis”) has just launched her longtime New York City for 7.9 million. But don’t worry – even though he was bound to sell the family-sized Chelsea expansion, he has no plans to leave Native New York City. A pre-war industrial building housed in a luxurious boutique co-op called La Fabric, which was completed in 1933 and converted into residential accommodation in 1987. The 30-year-old is proud of Sarandon’s home A mansion of six bedrooms the size of 6,000 square feet. Sarandon bought the theatrical duplex in 1991 with his then-partner actor Tim Robbins. At one point part of the apartment was used as an office during the production of “Bombshell: The Heady Lamar Story”, on which Sarandon played the role of executive builder. As a joke, Sarandon placed the awards, including his “Dead Man Walking” Oscar, in a guest bathroom.
An avid entertainer and host – Chelsea duo For nearly two decades, politically active actors loved to entertain and often attended large parties in the dining area and kitchen – the second floor of the Chelsea home in Sarandon was reserved for guests with three bedrooms, a few bathrooms, a second.
