The Recording Academy’s producer and engineer wing will kick off Grammy week by honoring drummer, producer and three-time Grammy winner Terry Lynn Carrington and classical producer and 13-time Grammy winner Judith Sherman. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 1 at Village Studios in Los Angeles.
In addition to paying tribute to Carrington and Sherman, the event will celebrate the yearlong work of the Producers and Engineers Wing and its members, who advocate for excellence and best practices in education in sound recording, audio technology and the recording industry. With proper crediting, acknowledgment and rights for music creators.
