The ‘masked singer’ reveals the identity of the rhino – different

Eater caution: If you haven’t seen Episode 16, Season 3 of “The Masked Singer” aired on Fox on May 13th, don’t miss it.
Former pro baseball pitcher Barry Jito has spent the last few years focusing on his music career. Just last week, he released a cover of the Kenny Rogers track “The Greatest”. Now, it turns out that millions of TV viewers are listening to the Zeto performance this spring.
The last star to be unmasked in the hit Fox reality contest series in the guise of Ginota was Jito. (Scroll to the bottom of this story to see a video of his unmasking))
“I grew up in a musical family and I always wanted to write songs and create songs,” Jito told Variety. “So when I landed in Nashville at the end of my career, I was directly into lyricism and I really started hitting co-composition on music for a few years. It was an incredibly teaching experience for me.”
Jito released an EP in 2017 and is writing and co-composing songs regularly. But “The Musked Singer” still presents a new challenge: “I thought wow, it’s really scary and I don’t really feel like singing on any stage in a costume that feels like something far from my comfort zone. But I know that Personally, the biggest change I’ve ever had is when I feel uncomfortable. “
Adding to this stress, Rhino had a hard time singing the costume. He said, “I could only see the ground,” he said, “The rhino had two small quarter noses that I could see but I couldn’t. It really couldn’t be navigated from there. Also the mask was really heavy, because it was a huge rhinoceros.” I’ve never sung or danced before, I’ve only ever met him in a stall and played the acoustic guitar. Inera were like, ‘Oh my gosa, what I get here ukalama? Abisbasyarakamai difficult to find. “
For his final performance, Jito starred in Wednesday night’s episode of “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGrath. Includes past songs from Wright Brothers’ “You’re Lost Feeling”, and Smoky Robinson’s “Tracks of My Tears”. Jito said he was pleasantly surprised that he did as much as he could – in the final four of Season 3.
“I just wanted to keep my head down and try my best every time and not get so caught up in winning,” he said. “These are things I learned in my baseball career. When I get results oriented and focus on things I can’t control, like winning or results, it really spoils the experience for me. My goal was to really get out there and not get defeated in the first show. It’s a huge win for me when I make it through the first show.
Zeto’s identity was kept secret until panelist Jenny McCarthy-Ohlberg turned it into his guess a few weeks ago, and the athlete said he heard it from a lot of former teammates who leaked it.
“Eric Byrnes, with whom I played in Oakland, is still a good friend. His kids watch the show religiously so he texted me a few weeks ago, “Zeto said.” And he was, ‘Friend. You’re killing it on TV.’ And I was, ‘What are you talking about?’ “
As the panel speculated, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg and Ken Jeong named Jito, Nicole Scherzinger thought it was Jason Aldian, guest panelist Jay Faroe chose Black Shelton, and Robin Thick thought it was Trace Adkins.
“I was just flattering to get people like Tim McGraw, Vince Gill, Sam Hunt and Blake Shelton down there,” Jito said. “Other names like David Hasselhoff, Derek Jeter, Tim Tabo. These are all great entertainers, they’re guessing these things and I’m in costume, just laughing on stage when they drop these names.”
Now that “The Masked Singer” has been released, Jito says he will be bringing some music later this year “that is different, a little more electronic, a little more poppy, but the lyricist’s heart is still drowsy.” I’m really excited to be able to have more control over what’s happening.
