Eater caution: The second episode of “The Masked Singer” aired on Fox 2 September, if you haven’t seen it, don’t read it.
“The Masked Singer” was able to remove two icons from the 90s in one episodic jolt. Thursday night’s episode, the second part of the two-night season 6 premiere, opens with the release of actor Vivica A. Fox as Mother Nature. Later, the episode ends with singer Tony Braxton exiting as a pufferfish.
Fox and Braxton Lakers star Dwight Howard joined Fox’s “The Masked Season” season 6 as the first three masked celebrities – one triple elimination a week. With their departure came two new wildcards in the competition: the hamster and the baby,
Host Nick Cannon said Braxton’s quick departure could be the biggest disaster in “masked singer” history. Never. I think you will be annoyed that you have decided to put a wildcard on this actor.
Braxton Dua Lipper in the role of Pufferfish sang “Levitating” by Kirti. The Baby (and yes, she raped). At night he sang Doza Cat’s song “She So”.
“When I was in school, I was given shelter. My family was very religious, “Braxton said in his” Masked Singer “video package. “When the other kids were out watching movies and listening to music, these were limited to me and I had to keep my dreams to myself. I certainly turned my head when I first gained fame. Some of the things I wore speak back to church. I didn’t care, it was nice to express myself. I’m leaning towards sexy here. I think I’m at the Met Gala. And even though this gown is what I am, I love to change my voice and throw the panel. And I have to say, I hope their heads turn again tonight. I think I always like to talk to people. ”
For extra Covid-1 protection, Braxton wore a mask under the mask, which may have disguised his voice a little more.
No one got it right. Ken Jeong named Joe Saldana as his choice. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed Nelly Furtado and Nicole Scherzinger thought it was Monica. Robin Thick thought it was Jessica Alba.
For Mother Nature, both Jeong and McCarthy Wahlberg speculated on Tiffany Hadith. Scherzinger went with Chelsea Handler for his first impression but Tracy switched to Ellis Ross for his pick. Thick’s first impression was Ross, and he stuck with her for her pick. None of them got exactly like that.
“The Masked Singer” enters Season 6 with 16 contestants and returns to studio audiences for the first time since the epidemic began. This season’s outfits include Baby, Banana Split, Beach Ball, Bull, Caterpillar, Cupcake, Dalmatian, Hamster, Mallard, Mother Nature, Octopus, Pepper, Pufferfish, Queen of Hearts and Skunk.
Season 6 contestants have received a combined 85 Grammy nominations and 27 wins, three Academy Award nominations, 12 Emmy nominations, 12 Rajji Award nominations, two Super Bowl appearances and two Lifetime Achievement Awards.
The show’s panelists will again compete for the “Golden Year” trophy based on the first impressions of each masked actor (which McCarthy has won the last two times) – and within a week, the panelists’ final predictions were their first impressions. Howard guessed Jeong went into the second round with one point; No one got points for Fox at Vivica.
For Pufferfish, Thik’s first impression was of Jessica Alba. McCarthy Walberg chose Jennifer Lopez. Jeong first chose Isa Roy. Sherzinger named Pala Abdul for his first impression. No one scored a point.
Also new this season, a “Take It Off” market show will allow panelists to claim to remove a celebrity’s mask prematurely, if they believe they know who it is. If they are correct they will get two extra points towards the Golden Year list. If they make a mistake they will be given “severe punishment”, whatever that means.

Voice over: “I wanted to be a hamster because my body is unfortunately like a hamster. And also, I’ve felt a wheel stuck a bit, going round and round. I mean who didn’t feel a little cooped up last year or so? A guy who always jumps from one project to another with my famous friends.I’m used to be in all sorts of arenas, and it was hard to keep up the pace this past year. But now, I’m breaking the routine, so I paint all those I can give up energy. As a wildcard, I promise that I will be the teacher’s pet.
The panel guesses: Bill Murray, Brendon Fraser, Albert Brooks, Tim Allen, Kelsey Grammar, Andy Richter, Jack Black

I got a full ride scholarship when I got some unexpected news that changed everything. I was forced to take a different course. But I learned life lessons that I would never get in the classroom. Success is not measured in diplomas. And as it turns out, that pivot of life was the greatest degree of all time.

Voice over: “When I was in school, I moved forward to the beat of my own drummer. There was a place where I felt most free: my garage. In that dust I have made my own world. I’ve done shows, I’ve given the best performances, and my shows have always sold out. At least they sold out in my head. I lived on my own planet, and tonight I sang a song that reminded me of that time. And my first crash, which inevitably also meant my first heartbreak. And I think what they say is true, the first hurts the most.

I got the blockbuster hit, an award-winning album, Radio Play. I even replaced Schwarzenegger in a picture. And now I have come to build the world as a giant playpen as a wildcard.
Panel estimates: Will Smith, Hugh Jackman, Vin Diesel, Chuck Norris
