Is it a spoiler to reveal that an important plot point from “” revolves around a juicy cheeseburger? Of course, the hit satire that recently arrived on HBO Max is basically a restaurant with a huge ghostly tasting menu set on a deserted island and overseen by a mercurial chef played by Ralph Fiennes.

But the character played by Anya Taylor-Joy, the odd-woman-out among wealthy foodies and snooty critics, refuses to inscribe the exquisitely plated oysters or handmade tortillas with snarky messages. After several shocking incidents occur during dinner, he finally gets the urge to serve “just a well-made cheeseburger.”

This month, historic West Hollywood stand Irv’s Burgers is teaming up with Searchlight Pictures to offer a special based on the thriller’s climactic dish.

In late January, Irv’s will be serving up “a well-made cheeseburger just for you” — Irv’s Sesame Bun, two 3 oz. Beef patties, American cheese, pickles, onions and special sauce, side of crinkle cut fries. “The Menu” burger and fries for $9.95 and Irv’s, 7998 Santa Monica Blvd. and available on Postmates and UberEats.

“Making a cheeseburger is an art,” says chef Dominic Crane, the film’s consultant diversity. Although Crane’s restaurant is largely meat-free, he admits, “The cheeseburger is the comfort we sometimes seek in a stressful world. If you do it with love and attention, it’s amazing.”
