Kristen Stuart shows Princess Diana an upcoming biographical drama about her favorite royal in the first trailer of “Spencer”.
Directed by “Jackie” filmmaker Pablo Lauren, the film was set in 1991 and Diana and Prince Charles jumped on the bandwagon over the Christmas holidays. English actor Jack Firthing is starring alongside Stuart as the clear heir to the British throne.
Stewart’s first-look photo of Diana as a character has set the internet on fire, but film fans have been patiently waiting for American actor Diana to adopt a British accent. Yet it seems the studio is behind the film, the neon and the topic, people want to guess because Stuart utters only two words in a minute long trailer.
The official logline reads: “The wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since cooled down. Despite rumors and divorce, peace is set for the Christmas festivities at Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There’s food, shooting and hunting. “Things will be very different. Spencer is about imagining what happened on those lucky days.”
“Spencer” is set to release in theaters on November 5
