Tom Felton has reassured fans that he is “recovering” after breaking down during a celebrity golf match at the Ryder Cup on Thursday.
In a video posted on his Instagram account on Saturday, the “Harry Potter” star thanked viewers for their support after the incident with his guitar in hand.
“Hello everyone, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I just want to say a big thank you to you for all the good wishes recently, ”Felton said in the video. “It’s a bit scary, really – but for the sake of correction, people are taking good care of me. So thank you so much to everyone who sent me a message of healing soon because I was officially healed. ”
Felton then turned to the song and said, “You don’t have to worry because Tom will do well / So don’t worry, Tom will do well.”
Felton’s fall on Thursday was a cause for concern as he was expelled from Whistling Straits, Wise Golf Course.
“In today’s Rider Cup celebrity match, actor and musician Tom Felton encountered a medical incident on the course while taking part in Europe,” PGA of America said in a statement to CNN. “He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No further details are available. ”
The 34-year-old actor was representing Europe in the celebrity match, along with actor Stephanie Sosostak and former professional athletes Alessandro Del Piero, Tony Cuco and Sasha Bhujanis.
