4 min read

Nearly a year after the withdrawal of the Tony Award nomination, it is finally time to announce the winners.

Amid growing health concerns, Broadway (and theaters around the world) went dark in March 2020 as the world battled the epidemic. Very recently the screen has risen in the theater industry, with passionate returns for “Wicked,” “Hamilton” and much more. But Tony will look back tonight, and finally pay tribute to the nominees who have been waiting 346 days to see if they have won.

So who has the advantage? A remake of Alanis Morriset’s favorite album “Jagged Little Peel” is in the lead with 15 Tony Award nominations, followed by “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” with 14 affirmations.
